My only issue is that Doug is undeniably conservative. (And before anyone goes off on how I'm crazy and fishing for a ring: yes, I am, and Doug is well aware. We've talked about it extensively. So, while reading my friend Dave's awesome analytical rant thing on Twilight, I revisited a realization I had a bit ago.

I want to write as well as illustrate, and I want to write a stand alone non-graphic novel. I want to be successful in writing said novel, and possibly write more in the future. In fact, I would like so very much to within the next five years complete and possibly publish said novel. However, seeing as how I write with young adult/popular fiction in mind (because I like money and easily am a sellout), I will likely not be a best seller unless I write about conspiracies, zombies or vampires.

So, I've gotten myself hooked on Hadashi de Bara wo Fume. It's pretty cute, and I fell in love with Ueda Rinko's style ever since Shoujo Beat released Tale of the Moon. Plus, it's another period title with hot gentleman. AND the main character is wearing lolita in some scenes. I could have sworn that short skirts like that on women 15 and up were scandalous in those days, but I'm not gonna complain; her clothes are cute.

So, not going to AWA. I am going to go to NYAF. I'm not having a table there, but that's ok; I'm gonna hand out promotional stuff by hand instead. I'll feel like a douche, but if only 15 actually keep my postcard, they much check out my shit, and that's still publicity.

So, I may be going to AWA and sharing a little bit of table space with kuroitora. For that and future business reasons, I'm opening a separate account for just artwork updates and will be cleaning up and friends locking this account soon. I just need to work on the other account and pay for this and the other. I want to see how much my folks are willing to help me in getting down to Atlanta first.

So, my roomie is here now. Once she's settled in, I'm gonna take pics of what my dorm looks like thus far. It's kinda bare on my end at the moment, but I'm gonna go back to my hometown this weekend and gets more stuff, including my butterfly chair. I'm gonna sew a new cover for it. I'm thinking animal "fur" or plaid...not sure yet. My sheets are really girly, though, so it might clash. Gotta figure it out.

So, I'm back in the City and I finally have my net back up. Now I want to to do some archery all of a sudden. I had the whole summer being at my folk's place where I could do that in my backyard and now I wanna do this shit... Anyone know where in the City I can do this for cheap?

Also, fml, my credit's already reached the limit. I still have some more groceries to buy along with some other art supplies. And I'm still waiting for my roomie to come in, hoping she brings stuff that I don't have 'cause there wasn't enough room in the car/not enough time to look around and buy a cheap microwave. It takes a while to heat things in a rice cooker...well, when it's not rice.

I get that in order to use your Internets, I need to have anti-virus on my computer. It's logical, like my Spock bangs, and secures the school connection. Which is why I tried to download one from one of the links you gave me, since the trial disk you so kindly supplied me with last year is obsolete.

However, I see a hole in your system, unless your ultimate goal is simply to give me a headache and bad withdrawal symptoms as I suspect is the case.

I can't download anti-virus if your system does not allow the credit check to go through your system. Do you follow this at all? Hell, I can't even get in the link for alleged "free" McAfee that you provide, ever. So, I tried to buy it (had to switch to Firefox from Safari to do that, btw) even though I need to go out and buy some groceries tonight. And I get all my card info up, and I'm ready to download it by totally legit means (and not the "totally legit means" that Bobby and I usually mean) when BAM! I'm back at that page of yours that asks me to log in and download that thing that goes "YOU NO HAS ANTIVIRUS! NO INTERNETS FOR YOU!"

Thus, I'm freezing my poor titties off in the basement cyber lounge, unable to enjoy my wank and creeped out by the silence, save the whirring of the copy printer back over there. One day left to submit designs for Bodyline's design contest. I need to finish my Into the Woods print design and draw something up to submit. Granted, I have those other 6 submissions (7, 'cause of the color scheme for the Arabian Night jsk being split in two entrees), but I really want this in. I must do it for my musical geek.

I also need to finish packing for school, as move in is Saturday. Fffffffffffffff



EDIT: Two hours left, and I didn't get to do any work on the damn thing yesterday. Not gonna make it. Alas. I suppose I'll work on it and submit it when the spring contest rolls around. It feels more like a spring item anyhow.

It's silly, but I'm rather disappointed with the fact that my dorm number is 706, and not 707. If I relocated from the first floor single to a seventh floor with a roomie, I demand at least some compensation in the form of geeky referencing, damn it! At least I still have my kitchenette, and I'm still hoping that my roomie will be the Nana to my Nana.

Don't ask which one I am, just yet.
